I have not been to OZ or NZ, but I really liked Victoria B.C. That gets my vote until I travel to the other cities.
My votes would be Mandalay in Myanmar, Aleppo in Syria and Auckland, NZ.
Melbourne, I feel is the friendliest city in the world.
