hi ive currently been travelling Australia for the past 3 months and know looking on heading over to Asia. Im heading to Bali first but then i am looking on going Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and possibly India (if i have enough money!) Im currently backpacking so I am looking on doing it pretty cheap. Is anybody looking on something similar or got any advice from previous experiences?
When traveling in Singapore, try to eat in the China Town area, since food is way cheaper than everywhere else.
Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia will cost more than Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Laos. All countries are not equal in "cheapness!"
Do some research for the visas you will require. Some countries may require a visa you purchase if you do not have a round trip ticket or "proof of onward travel." It is possible to travel from Singapore through Malaysia and up to Thailand overland. Rail service and buses run between these countries.
