Hi,
I want to show my round-the-world trip on the map and embed it into my blog.
Just playing around with planner and map and recognized that it is not visible in the map where I am currently staying.
Can't the lines of passed routes be set in another colour so that others can see immediately where I am?
If not can I mark the current city eg. with a special pointer that everyones sees on the map where I am?
I hope such a feature is possible, and I did not recognize it so far when testing my planner.

Hi,
Up to you to modify the colors (Edit trip details) and highlight the one you want. You can put your preferred trip in black for instance.
If you want to to show where you are, you need to add a separate portion i.e. separate trip.

thanks for the response. I tried it but I cannot see then the other colour of the second trip. Seems that my planned first trip (which shows the total route) is overlapping the other colour.
Furthermore adding a separate duplicate trip would then provide wrong statistics, isn't it?
There is no other way to mark on the map with a special pointer where am I ? Is it something that is on your plans for future implementation?

Yes the latest trip in the future overlaps the others.
An easier way is to place a colored stop with a date far away. Use a trip with only one stop.
Anyway you will have to change the stop any time you want to indicate a new location.
And of course it gives wrong statistics.
No idea if there is any plan for a soft modification
