Hey I'm planning a one year world trip starting mid/late 2016, I'm saving until there... I know it's still far from now but I'd hope to find someone to join me
I'd really love to travel Asia, but I am open to sugestions and other destinations.
I speak portuguese, english, french and a bit spanish.
It's a great idea to save for such a long time. In 1-2 years time, you'll be able to build a good itinerary and hopefully you'll be able to save as well (depends on your income, of course...).
3+1 languages is really great, that's a great quality.
I'm dreaming of Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand. Long term. Not all of them, but would like to visit 2-3, if possible. Don't know when exactly, but I think in late 2015 or later...
That's great list, Japan is a priority for me, although I've heard that it's an expensive country to travel.
By 2016 I think I will have a good budget to travel comfortably for a year. I would think anywhere from 25 to 30 thousand euros, from what i've been reading in travel blogs that would be a "correct" budget.
If you're leaving late 2015 or later maybe we can still meet at some point!
That's a huge budget, to be honest. Way above mine.
I've never gone above 2,500 EUR.
With 25-30 thousand, you can see much of Asia, spend half a year there!
Me neither I have never traveled like this. The maximum I've done was an Interrail for 25 days with a much much smaller budget obviously.
That's why I'm taking 2 years to save for this budget my idea is going for a year. maybe 6 months in asia and the rest we'll see... a sea of possibilities. :D
It's a lovely idea to travel for an entire year. I would love to achieve this too.
My max too was around 3 weeks 20+ days. sub-2000 EUR budget.

You could also try Scotland,the highlands there are pretty great,if you want to go on the other opposite extreme,them Malawi is also cool,a cool little secluded tropical paradise worth see
