G'day, I'm planning a trip to France and Italy that will take place around May June approximately. I've allowed 6 weeks for this trip and I think maybe 4 days of that time in Switzerland. I guess I have 2 questions at this stage (1) Is Switzerland worth a visit after spending at least 5 weeks in France and Italy and (2) If so what should I plan to do and see. Thanking you for your help Joe
On some levels Switzerland is an interesting place, but it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea. In any case no one can offer an opinion when you give no clue about your interests, likes/dislikes, budget, etc.
Have fun with your planning.
Cheers,
Terry
Thanks Terry. At the moment anything is a possibility I like to look at all options and work the list down to what I can manage in regard to time and cost. I'm a keen photographer so sightseeing would be heigh on the agenda. I'm wondering if Switzerland has much more to offer than what I would see in some areas of France and Italy.
Hi,
I did a month of Panoramic trains around Switzerland & was hugely impressed. Extremely photogenic.
