Thailand November 2014 (Cambodia, Laos, Bali)

Hi

Hi Will!

I'm travelling alone as well, probably four-five months and I will be visiting Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodja and Indonesia. Philippines too if I have time.

I'm 26, from Denmark and haven't booked a flight yet, thinking about the beginning of november. We should meet up somewhere

Cheers, Christina

Here are some most important places you must not miss Ha Long Bay, Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Cu Chi Tunnels in Vietnam. Angkor Wat Complex Siem Reap, Phnom Penh Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda in Cambodia. Raja Ampat, Komodo National Park and Yogyakarta in Indonesia. I have been to these places.

Out of all the places you mentioned, i have visited Philippines and its an amazing place, while their be sure to visit these places- Boracay,
San Agustin Church,
Banaue Rice Terraces,
Chocolate Hills and
Mayon Volcano

Hi

I arrive in Bangkok on November 10th and will be travelling around Asia for minimum 3 months. My plans are nowhere near set in stone; I have only researched Thailand in any great detail so far. With the others countries i just have a rough idea of the ones i want to visit - Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines and Indonesia.

I am travelling alone so are there any others who are also travelling around the same time?
Also any must go places or must do things to recommend?

I'm 24, M, from the UK.

Cheers, Will.

hello mate. Where you flying from? I also fly out on the 10 th from Manchester.

The slow boat down the Mekong from Chiang Khong (a minivan ride from Chiang Mai) in Thailand to Luang Prabang in Laos is a great way to meet fellow travellers and very easy to do. It is possible to take the overland north route from Sam Neua oer the border at Na Meo into Vietnam and head up to Hanoi and Ha Long Bay. Further down the coast Hoi An is a lovely fishing town and now a tourist spot on the way to Ho Chi Minh City. From there several buses go across the border to Phnom Penh in Cambodia and then on to Siem Reap for the Angkor complex. After that we took a minivan across the border back into Thailand and headed to Ko Chang for some beach.

In the Philippines, the rice terraces of Batad and the hanging tombs at Sagada are worth a visit and, if you can get out to Oslob you can swim with the whale sharks.

Enjoy your trip!

Hi guys

I arrive in Bangkok on Sunday (2 November), from there I'll probably head North in Thailand. Anyone else who is around let me know!

Steve
