My daughter is arriving by thai airways from cheng Mai to bangkok how long will it take to walk to air austral departure gate
Two airports in Bangkok. Assuming she is arriving at Suvarnabhumi (some Chiang Mai flights arrive at Don Mueang which is some distance away), it is a large airport and no knowing where her arrival and departure gates will be till the day and time. And hoping the Chiang Mai flight will be on time.
From landing you would want at the very least an hour to get off of the plane and a possible long walk. If she has a connecting flight to catch, remember gates shut some 30 minutes early.
According to your concern, tbh it is not that far to walk from international arrival to domestic departure gate.You will see the direction all the hallway walking separate to others after you step the airport plus same building. However, Thai airways domestic flights usually fly from Suwannaphumi Airport so dont have to go further to Donmaung Airport which is locate in city centre of Bangkok.
