I am traveling oz with My boyfriend and so far we have had a great time and we are loving it. My boyfriend has some distant relatives that we have been staying with for the last 1 and a half weeks, but because of their holiday coming up we now need to move on.
We are about an hour away from Brisbane.
We are thinking about either trying to work in Brisbane or go up to bunderberg and do some fruit picking. Has anyone had any experience of bunderberg fruit picking? I've heard some bad things such as people not getting paid what they have been told they would get and not being allowed water etc.
Any advice or thoughts or hostel ideas please or anyone think if a good but cheap ish way to live in Brisbane. I've put up a wanted add already for a room to rent.

Not really related to your post but I wondered if I could quickly ask you a few questions. My fiancée and I are leaving for Sydney on the 10th of April. I wanted to now how you and your partner got on with hostels and stuff, did you always pick double private rooms to stay in?
Any couple friendly tips you could share would be a massive help,
