When do you fly out?
Do you have any advice for me regardingo the money side of things, I have the funds together in my account but have been advised to get a travel card that is like a debit card. What will you be using?

I should have put the date really lol I fly on the 23rd. When do you go? As I am going for a length of time I will be getting a bank account out there and using that to store my money as it will be easier for when I get a job.
I fly out on Christmas Day and I can't wait. Little bit nervous though to be honest as I'm going on my own and feel I have loads to do. Thanks for your advice you are the second person to say that.
So what on the list of must do's?

How long are you going out there for? Are you planning to work?
Tbh I don't have a list really, I'm just going and seeing what happens. I wanna see what's to offer when I'm there. Anything you want to do?
Always preview an ideal destination before you travel, especially area warnings of DFA. and make sure you pack all your essential things

My advice to both of you is don't take too much stuff, a lot of these lists include everything but the kitchen sink, a lot of the stuff listed you'll never use and will just weigh your backpack down. Australia is a developed country and has all the things you forget or whatever.
Also as your bringing the pound with you, Australia is not as expensive as when I came in 2012, the pound is more or less half Australian at the moment, so great if you bring UK money, not so great if your working out here, as I am at the moment.
Theres loads of stuff to do out In Australia and depends on what your looking do get out of your trip, but If I had to choose 2 things that was definitely u there when I travelled the East Coat was the Whitsundays Islands to a 2 day 2 night boat tri or equivalent if posssible and Fraser Island.

I fly out to Sydney from birmingham and arrive on the 25th. Booked myself in at Bounce for a week then see what happens. Want to travel the east coast
