Hi, im going travelling this year to Thailand. I plan to go September/October time. I was wondering if anyone else was there around the same time to travel with? i have never travelled before and am a bit scared at the thought of having the full experience by myself. i have no real plans when i am there and i am quite easy to do anything. however, i am looking at island hopping and hoping to go to the full moon party in october. i will be 22 and i am female just finishing university, easy going and excited for an amazing experience!!
Hi Joanna, I just booked my flight this morning. I land in BKK on Sept 8. The only plan I have is to be at the full moon party Sept 12. I leave Oct 2.
This is also my first trip like this. Im a 27 year old male from Canada.
Im probably spending most of my time on the islands.

Never done this either but make sure you read through this forum, theres loads of people in the same boat and it's so reassuring to know!!! Feeling much better about the whole situation now and rather than scared I'm more excited about getting there now!! xx

I was wondering if you had any plans/rough plans of your trip in Thailand. I am taking off a year from college and traveling, but dont quite want to do it all alone. If you are interested in volunteering and traveling all around SEA maybe we could meet up/ start out together. I think I am most nervous about the first couple of weeks in Thailand alone.

I have actually booked to do some volunteering! I have booked it with STA Travel, the volunteering scheme i am doing starts in bangkok on the 11th September and is for three weeks and travels around Thailand. I am then planning on travelling after if i can meet other people to travel with as i am too scared to travel alone!! Would be great to meet someone else who wants to volunteer then travel after at the same time im there. Once travelling i dont really have any plans would just really like to go to the full moon party on the 12th October.

hey landing in bangkok 2nd of october via mumbia india. spending some time with friends from a previous trip then onto cambodia for a few days to see the temples before heading to koh phanang for the full moon on the 12th. then onto koh samui before heading back to bangkok for a few days hopefully i can get this all done in 3 wks. can`t wait man it`ll be 4 yrs since the last time i was over. ahhhhhhh hurry up
Hey, me and a friend are travelling for the first time. We are going to Bangkok first on 25/9 and staying in Thailand to 16/10.... Our plan is to head to the full moon party and spend 3 or so days prior hanging in Koh Samui. We are also looking at doing Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Pattaya.
Let me know if you are interested in attending the party and maybe hanging in Koh Samui prior. Im a 24 yr old Austrailan Male. Cheers Josh
