They don't; for one, they'd have no idea who your employer would be. Also, in most cases the granting of a WHV seems to be a fully automated process, which takes just an hour or two (though it can take up to a week if they have a lot of load or something triggers the system to make a human look at it).

Thanks, they actually ask for details of your employer on the form I filled in. I rang them today to double check and apparently it's part of an old
Form! All sent off now though so hopefully will come back fine :-) X
