I am an investor from Africa who wants to establish organized travel in the Southern parts of Africa. I would like a system similar to Metro system. I am mainly interested in how the Metro is organised, it's links to the banks and also how people use the Metro cards - how they function. Currenlty people in Africa do have commuter omnibuses and they pay as they catch a ride, I would love them to purchase tickets prior to travelling and help them plan their trips. This is intracity, then I would also want to do Inter city travel facilities. When I introduced the idea to commuter owners, (In Africa, the owners of public transportation are individuals) they did not like the idea OF REPLACING DAILY CASH IN OF CASH WITH TICKETS OR COUPONS. This system I am absolute it will revolutionize transportation industry in Africa. I would welcome all your ideas.
