hey hey fellow adventurers!
ok im am travelling to sydney from london at the beginning of may..i am doing it alone and have a little plan as yet... i know where i am staying when i get to sydney and have a rough idea of what i want to get out of my trip. But as i am doing it alone i am crapping it! anyone else doing the same thing? i am a 25 year old conservation graduate!
if anyones travelling at the same time message me, we might be on the same flight.
Also i had my visa granted through email, is this an electrical visa...will it just be activated as i enter oz? the visa seemed so easy!

Where are you staying when you arrive?
Yeah I just have e-mail confirmation of my visa. There is a unique number attached to your passport so when you go through customs it should come up when they scan your passport.

eek oh god i bet youre so excited.. you travelling alone?
i am staying at the billabong gardens in newtown...i havent booked it yet but i am going to stay in the dorms, its way cheaper and its a good way of meeting people. you should look it up it looks so cute and i hear newtown is the place to be. you can save me a bed if you get there a day before me too ahaha.
you having a little time in thailand before you arrive in sydney? that was my plan but the budget didnt work out too well so i will have to do some travelling once i have worked a little in sydney first!

Yeah, all on my own! Little bit nervous, but not too bad. Not long to go eeeek!
I'm staying in Coogee when I first arrive, but after I while I’ll maybe move closer to the centre. Don't plan to stay in Sydney for that long to be honest, it's meant to be really expensive! So going to move on up the coast quite quickly, that’s my plan for now anyway... could all change when I get there! I've never heard of billabong gardens before, I’ll go have a look
Yeah I’m in Thailand for about 12 nights, hopefully its sunny!

Coogee is nice but there are more central places to stay....you'll need to take a bus and then a train (or just a bus) if you want to get to the CBD...which means you'll spend more on transport.
I'm booked with a group and all my transport is included for the first week After it's finished though i'll move more central or somewhere else. Thanks
