If the Turkish airlines lose your luggage you must have a lot of patience and nerves to deal with it. No one wants to give you any concrete information and you will spend a lot of time and money (for phone bills) in search of any news.
When they finally decide to admit that they can not find your lost luggage they will offer to you 600 USD dollars, which in my case was less than half of the total value of the lost luggage. If you ask for an explanation you will wait for it at least two months (so far). Not to mention all other expenses (tickets, etc ...) In total if the Turkish airlines lose your luggage they concern is to (anyway) earn money on your misfortune.
So if you decide to fly with the Turkish airline (specially via Istanbul) mark your luggage the best way you can !!!!
