Hi I am a 24yr old female from Wales UK - currently in australia and have been travelling for 9months here and wanting to travel to thailand in july! i'm with a friend at the moment but she doesn't have enough money to travel to thailand yet which leaves me solo I dont really want to travel alone so I'm looking for someone/some people to travel all around thailand with - I want to see as much as possible and hoping to travel for three months! I'm an out going bubbly person that's up for a laugh. I'd like a happy balance of partying and going to see the temples, elephants, tigers etc if anyone's interested to join me let me know - the more the merrier - hope to hear from you - Soph
Thailand grants a 30 day visa exemption on arrival which can be extended by land (15 days) or air (30 days) trips out and back, You can get a two month visa from a Thai embassy outside Thailand and a number of places in Thailand will extend it another month for 1900 baht.
Note. July is the start rainy season In Thailand, which is often not as bad as it sounds, with maybe one or two days of rain a week (it can be heavy, and a small umbrella is handy) It does mean not so many crowds about, so easier to get accommodation and travel. Also a bit cooler (though still hot).
