I'm off too Brisbane to start my trip and then plan to either work my way up the Barrier reef to Cairns or fly from Brisbane to Cairns! (:

I'm flying into cairns on weds looking at staying there for a month or so and maybe get a job on a farm for a month to get a bit more money so I can head to sydney for christmas and new years haven't got anything planned as such yet all I done is boooked a one way flight out from the uk if you have the same idea the get in touch I'm traverling alone so looking to hook up with people.

I arrive in Cairns around the 20th of Nov and am heading down the east coast for a month or so. Arrive in Sydney on the 23rd of Dec. I reckon Gilligan's looks pretty sweet.
I'm hoping to do some diving trips around the GBR and then a few nights on a boat off the whitsundays etc etc.

I've not finalised my plans as yet, but am likely to be flying into Cairns mid November for a few nights before heading south down the East Coast over the next 3/4 weeks to arrive in Sydney mid December. I'm likely to be staying in dreamtime hostel in Cairns.

Hot tip: Gilligans is a rip-off to stay at but is great to party at. Head to coronas backpackers across the road from gilligans - only $14 per night including dinner
I got to Cairns last night and will be here until Wednesday. If anyone wants to meet up for a look round or a couple of beers then give me a shout!
