Hey Chris! I'll be doing the exact same thing as you (5 months in S.A alone, starting off in Buenos Aires), but I'll get there on Jan 20th!
What are your travel plans? I think I'll spend a month or so in Argentina, bus it to Bolivia, possibly take a plane to Colombia and then spend some time in Ecuador before travelling back down through Peru and Chile.. None of my plans are really set, I'm still trying to figure out the best way to make the most of my trip (lots of bus travel !)
What countries are you planning to visit?

Hi Maya,
like you, my plans are not set. But I am planning on spending Dec and Jan in Argentina. From there I will bus it through the south east coast of Brazil, then on to Bolivia and then finish off in Peru. Would love to to do Colombia as well but it's just fitting everything in!
If you PM me during January I should be able to give you some recommendations for Buenos Aires etc and if I'm still in Argentina then we could even meet up?!

Hi Chris, how is it going? I'm argentinian myself and, as far as I know, I'll be spending the very first half of january (till the 23rd) in Buenos Aires before I go on holiday until late february. If you want to, I can show you around the place (or at least attempt to do so).
By the way, I'll be visiting London on february and since you mentioned the fact you're a londoner yourself I cannot help but ask; have you got any particular advice/place visit for newcomers?
