I have recently set up a map with about 50 destinations on it. The stats for days spent travelling are being miscalculated - it seems to stop following the train of stages after three days. The only stat shown is 3 days spent travelling, or 0.01% of my life. Wrong statistics are far worse than no statistics at all, so please either correct the calculations, or remove this part of the statistics.
Further to the above problem, I added one more date in at a later stage on my trip, and this has amended the number of days spent travelling. I am still not clear that it is correct.
This has come up a few times, . I think it's the one day stops that throws the calculation as it currently stands.
Yeah, it's probably the same issue. I'll have a look now. It's a bit problematic calculating it right, because it will have to run slightly slower, but it obviously needs fixing
Alright, found a solution which I think is acceptable! Let me know if you still think the days calculated are wrong.

I was too quick to think it OK. It is now showing another problem. My first day of departure is 2012-04-04 and the last date of arrival is 2012-08-09. This is 129 days inclusive of both dates. The calculated amount of time I have spent is 146 days - ie 17 days more.
You have one stop in there (Amnye Machen, Maqên, China) which has an arrival date of the 28th of August, so it's calculating on that as the maximum date of your trip.
Note that the calculations do take into account dates in the future at the moment. Whether this is good behaviour or not is probably up for discussion. I suspect some would like to see the calculation including future stops and some wouldn't
Thanks - the date in the future was a mistake on my part that I was not aware of. I'll sort that and hopefully then the stats calculation will also be corrected. On this particular point, I'd vote not to have dates in the future, but I can see both sides of the argument very clearly.
Thanks again for resolving this issue, minor though irritating. I am finding your site the most useful and usable of the travel mapping sites I have found so far.
