Limiting blog content from RSS readers

I'm using Google Reader to handle my large number of subscribed RSS's from various travel blogs etc. I've noticed that an RSS from Travellerspoint comes into my Reader with the complete content of that particular blog post. Other blogs on other platforms only show an introduction: One may call it a teaser.
The TP solution does not "force" or tease the reader into opening the TP blog, and may not even count as being read in Google Anaytics. I would like to generate more traffic to my blog, and I would have liked a feature were I could change this.

Go to the settings area of your blog, and change "Show complete XML feeds" to "no".

I love it when we actually already have the feature being requested

In order to boost morale among you TP people perhaps I should've asked a string of simple questions, like: Is it possible the use "bold" on text? But I won't. Thanks for the answer - and the function.
