My name is Michelle I'm 24 I land in Sydney on 12th jan also alone!! Am so so excited and very slightly terrified! I have never been to oz. I am spending first week on ultimate oz then hoping to spend a week in Sydney then hopefully find some people who want to travel up the east coast too! How are u wanting to travel up the east coast?

I'm actually looking to go to the west coast as ive been to the east coast twice. I know what you mean about the doing it alone ive never done anything like this before, but from what ive read and been told as long as you go to hostels etc then you meet lots of new people as there is many people in the same situation! hope you enjoy if my plans do change and i decide to do the east coast ill msg you! good luck xx

I'm taking the plunge and going alone around Feb/March time! Looking to have a few contacts before I go out there too. I have not set plans as yet so I'm literally going with the flow. Think I might start with OzIntro in Sydney or something just so my first week is planned with people in the same boat as me! What are everyone else's plans?
