Good plan you have mention here. These two places (Malaysia and Thailand) are amazing but Singapore is also a very clean and attractive place. If you add this one also in your tour then you will definitely enjoy your trip. These 4 places (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangkok) are near to each other.
Kl is not a place I would recommend the traffic pollutions is dreadful in the city.
Getting work will be a problem unless you have contacts.
Im just flying into KL as its cheap to fly to! Then im headed to Thailand. Its only a three week stop over on my way to Oz so i wont be looking for work anyway.
But, for the record, ive had a few mates nd family who have been to KL and really really liked it!
