Hi Im arriving into Bangkok on May 6th to travel Thailand, Laos and Cambodia for 6wks and was just wondering if anyone else will be at this time too? I'm travelling alone and would love to meet up with other people to enjoy the experience with Also Any advise would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I am arriving in Bangkok 11th June, backpacking alone and am excited and yet somewhat scared but can't wait. I know you can't really say where you will be at this time as I say, you get taken where life takes you. I am looking to head on to Oz afterwards.
With the thailand visa, can you fly in and have 30 days, leave the country then fly back in for another 30 days? I haven't got long to get a longer visa if I can't. But wanted to visit surrounding countries too.
Would be great if you could reply and tell me your plans, thoughts etc.

Do you have a set itinerary yet? I'm planning to go to SE Asia early May for as well (for 2 weeks), but would like to go to certain parts of Thailand and Laos. Depending on your plans for the first 2 weeks, maybe we can meet up.

Hey peeps so sorry havent had internet until now. I'm currently in Bangkok just landed today if anyone's here yet definately let me know we can travel together i'll be here till june 17th=) Kevin I probably wont go to Loas just yet but let me know your thoughts anyway.
At Charlie the visa is 30 days but then you can leave the country once to travel surrounding parts and come back and your visa will be renewed for a further 15days I'll b heading onto Oz too on june 17th for a month then nz for a couple wks followed by South America.
Lulubella I LOVE your idea of trekking round with your dog, are you here now?
