Hello my name is Jodie I'm 21 from Ireland and I'm flying to Sydney on the 1st of may I was going out to a friend there but we have recently fell out and so now I'm going over to no1 and don't know any1 else who is in Sydney I'm abit scared now but I have everything booked and paid for so u have to go I'm just wondering is there anyone else in a position like this and going to oz alone

I'm staying at Bounce for the first 5 nights and then will see what happens after that. I'm 27 and live near Manchester. Have you looked at any hostels yet??

Oh where abouts is bounce in Sydney? I did look up a few places but I couldn't book anywhere as I only have a lazer card and they won't accept lazer cards do I'm hoping to book on Sunday night using my cousins card x
It's central Sydney in a place called Surry Hills, looks really nice. I have heard that Base is also good but not sure where that is.

I may look that up I'm looking to stay somewhere as cheap as possible as I don't actually have a lot of money going I kinda rushed into all of this how much did it cost for the 5 nights? Lets hope I get into austraila first haha x
I paid a deposit of about £14 and then pay the rest when I get there, think it cost around £140 for 5 nights. Haha have you not got 5000 aud??

Oh that's a good price it'll be diff for me tho cos I'm euro and no I don't I'm suppose to have €3800 and let's just say I'm nowhere near that ha so really hope to find work ASAP iv applied for over 100 jobs but haven't heard anything bak x
I booked it through hostel bookers as they came out the cheapest. What kind of work have you applied for? I have registered with a few agencies and made appointments with them as soon as I arrive so fingers crossed they find me work. From what the agencies have told me they won't employ before you arrive.
