Congratulations on a fabulous journey - your trip is looking awesome! I would recommend for you to consider visiting the coastline in Levanto - if you are lucky with the weather, you will enjoy the legendary beaches almost certainly, as long as you take some tanning lotion with you. My hubby and I are thinking of returning to Italy this fall, and your journey plan has given me some ideas already, thanks

Sounds like you will have a wonderful time! Florence is really beautiful and I have always wanted to go to Venice! As far as renting a car goes I think that could be a really good way of seeing Italy as you can then drive through the beautiful countryside and stop to admire the views or enjoy local cafès in little rural villages - rural Italy is also stunning so you could fit in some of that easily between your cities if you rent a car. Have an amazing honeymoon!
