hello frnds,
we 2 frnds are coming to thailand from 19-29th april, its our first time so need some info.
we want to visit pattaya and phuket ( some island nearby), & 1 day in bangkok.. how should we plan.. hotels not booked yet.. i know its too late.. but early suggestion would help.
is there anyone going at same time ( so that we can plan together).
nyone please comment..
april 19 is the last day of songkarn festival at pattaya. i recommend you to visit there first. you can enjoy the night life there for a night and enjoy a day trip on the next day before head back to bangkok. enjoy night life in bangkok, there are many choices for you to choose. now you have 6 days left, if you are a big fan of sea, sand, and breeze, head south to phuket, krabi, and/or samui. each place has one day trip for sell and you can also attend full moon party on april 25. anyway if you have enough with your sea trip, i recommend one day trip at ayutthaya or one day trip at ancient city. both of them are not far from bangkok and you can go there before or after your sea trip.

but the problem is already flght tickets done.. dnt hv ny exprnc of there and also due to sudden plan..
i checked on net and one day trip to ayutthaya and ancient city done..
now 7 days left..
is 1 day enough for bangkok..
if 1 day in bangkok then i want to utilise rest of 6 days in pattaya , phuket and islands..
want to attent full moon party.... hw to do the booking..how to go ny advice??
in pattaya how much days are enough.. basically what should be the breakup of days..
please give ur valuable suggestion.. m thinking to freeze the plan and book all hotels tody..

Bangkok:
umm it is hardly to suggest cuz it depends on what you want to see and where do you want to go. to me, one day trip in bangkok to see tourism places is enough but if you want to go shopping, it is not enough. also the night life, you can make your plan from these activities; a buffet on cruise along the river, walking or biking around old city and drink at kaosan road, visit asiatique riverfront shopping center for goods and dinner, go to baiyok sky building to see whole view of bangkok on 90fl, go to silom rd to see some dirty shows (popular but not recommend), try famous food vendors at china town, etc. you cannot join all activities on a night for sure.
Pattaya:
to me, i will skip beach trip on pattaya since you gotta go to south to visit better places. Day time activities in pattaya are Nongnuch garden (it is beautiful but hot... search it by google), Museum Art in paradise, the sanctuary of truth, and crocodile farm. night activities: ladyboy show, agogo (not recommend), drinking and walking on walking street. thus i think one day and one night here is enough but you have to arrange your program. most tourists enjoy only night life and skip day trip but it is on your desire
PS. you can walk in to find hotel, hostel, or other accommodation in thailand so don't worry.
however it is a little bit cheaper if you book it before (in case you are on budget)
Full moon on April 25:
your travel have 3 choices; 1) go to phangan island from bangkok by bus, enjoy day trip and wait for full moon party 2) go to phangan from koh samui island by boat 3) go to phangan from koh tao island. there are a boat service from those 2 island at 8pm and you can go back to your booked room after party or you can try to book a room at phangan but it is not easy since you have only 12 day left. last choice you can sleep on the beach after party since many drunken do it (not recommend)
southern island:
there are 3 provinces that you have to choose; Phuket, Krabi, Trung (not popular for foreigner). Phuket has night life activities, beautiful diving spots, and many tourists. Krabi has many wonderful islands nearby included Phi Phi island. Trung, it is an unseen, natural richness, but no night life. any choice takes 3-4 days to see all but you can extend it in case you love spending your time on the beach like me. after you finish southern island, you should go to samui, tao, or phangan island for your full moon party
