Hi all, I'm hoping to get in touch with people travelling out to Australia late 2013 as I'm going it alone and a bit scared! Undecided on where to go first, although swaying towards Perth as its so far away from everywhere else, then travelling to East coast via Ayers Rock. Really can't decide though so if anyone has any tips/advice/ideas and will be travelling the same time it would be great to hear from you....

Im looking at going to Perth late dec early jan. I was hoping to be in Sydney NYE but I don't think I will have enough saved. I have a friend who lives there so within my time in Perth ill be visiting them a couple of times. Ive just come back from Perth was there 2 weeks on hol so have an idea about the place. I am open to any plans as my only ones are arriving in Perth for a couple of weeks To visit my frirnd but will still be sstaying in a hostel. I do want to try get some work in first few months just to get a bit more cash behind me and be eligible for my 2nd yr visa... then travel.

I am planning on going Australia alone in Nov. I am not sure of my route yet although I feel the same about Perth would be good to see but I want to travel the east coast mainly. I planning on travelling the south east coast up. I am really flexible for where to go although I am thinking of starting in Adelaide, doing great ocean road then Melbourne, sydney then upwards. I just want to see where my travels will take me.
Are you thinking of working? Have you booked anything yet?
I would like to find some people who are heading same areas at the same time too, so hopefully hear from you.

Hey im travelling to perth on the 20th of september aswell.. have family there to stay for a few weeks but want to travel down through to sydney before the christmas holidays. Wanting to work aswell somewhere to try and get my 2nd years visa haha.. want to see it all
