My husband and I are taking our 10 year old grandson for a weekend trip to anywhere easily and quicky reachable from Zurich(but nut CH because so expnsive!).....thought of Strasbourg but would appreciate any suggestions as to what would be fun for our grandson!
Some sugguestions ( all are close to the motorway A35) :
There are a monkey park in Kintzheim - Montage de Singes
An ecological museum in Ungersheim ( with old farmhouse scenery, tradionall bakery and some activities - particularly for families and kids) ecomusée-alscace in Pulversheim
what about Germany ( it´s closer to Zurich )
There are also a monkey park in Salem ( Bodensee-Area) - Affenberg Salem
you can combine it with the Pfahlbauten of Unteruldingen at the Lake Konstanz ( Bodensee)
or in Freiburg ( at the motorway A 5) are the Mundenhof - an animal park with beergarden and some activities for kids
