Good ideas for bed and breakfast on the beach in Maryland

Hello all! We are thinking of showing our young girls of 4 and almost 1 the ocean for the first time. We are planning on going in the middle of June so I assume the water will be to cold in the ocean to swim. We live in Ohio so we are just going to the closest place we can find. I'm looking for a B&B on the beach I came across -snip- but could not find the best bed and breakfast in Maryland on the beach. If anyone has any ideas please let me know and also do you think staying at a B&B is a good or bad idea for young kids. Or should we stick with a hotel room.
Thanks in advance.

Depends on if your objective is to see the ocean, lie on the beach or sight see.

We go to Delaware almost every year and the best beach is Rehoboth. Right on the ocean. Lots of rentals available, on the beach and off beach. The seafood is excellent. Shopping nearby, both retail and supermarkets. Beach is nice sand and in June the water will be relatively warm enough to get in.

Good boardwalk, but metered street parking within a block of the beach.

If you actually want to stay in Maryland, there are very few B&Bs near the beach except on the Eastern Shore.

One of the main towns with lots of B&Bs is St. Michaels.

The other main area for B&Bs is Kent Narrows. There are some in Stevensville, Queenstown and in Grasonville.
