I am going Carvoeiro, Portugal for one week visit and I am looking for some advice as I am going alone and it will be my first visit in Portugal. I have all set and planned but confused about whether I should stay in hotel or some holiday rentals. I personally like staying at holiday rentals houses with self catering rather than staying at hotle rooms. I am looking for rental apartments though I got something in Carvoeiro -snip- but I am looking for other options as well so that I can have variety of apartments villas and choosing between them would be easy for me.
For just one week, either an apartment or hotel. The Accommodation link at the top of the page is good.
Not really a lot to do in Carvoeiro, I would have preferred somewhere like Lagos which has a nice beach, a small town and easy access by public transport to elsewhere along the coast.

You must not be very good at your job ("Marketing expert") if you don't know why a link by a newly registered member on a message board would get deleted, particularly when that particular member has posted some other useless but keyword-stuffed posts (not to mention the promotional photos!).
Luckily, we are good at our jobs of spotting astroturfing and other kinds of spam, so just trust that the deletion had its reasons.

When ever you go there Go up to the Sugarloaf at dusk and watch the lights come on across the city, Be careful what souviners you buy. Do Not go out alone at night , Take taxi If it possible try to travel in groups Keep in mind that city is known for crime so be care full there...
