I am also going to be flying into sydney in september and will be travelling on my own. I will be starting my travels of in asia for 2 months and then I havd a flight booked to land in sydney on 29th september and was thinking of booking the Oz Intro for when I land.
I am also terrified of travelling on my own but also very excited to meet loads of people :-) I have no plans after the first week in aus, was hoping to meet people and decide when i am there.
I have been to aus twice already and fell in love with it the moment i stepped foot there and have been planning for years to go back and travel round for a year :-)
Would be great to chat and maybe have a potential buddy for when I land in Aus :-)

What made you choose oz intro over ultimate oz? I had originally chosen Ultimate Oz- but I've seen more going for the oz intro so still undecided! Either way, I think I will be starting it on the week beginning the 13th Sept!
I have never been to Australia, and really need to start making official plans for when I land - how long I'm planning to stay, but I'm hoping that will fall into place as I go!

Erm I looked at both and i think the oz intro is cheaper and it seems to have more on the itineray that i wanted to do like blue mountains surfing etc so thought i would just go with that one :-)
im sure it will fall into place when you get there :-) im hoping it will for me also. Are you thinking of working while your there?
I would like to get my 3 months work out of the way so i qualify for my 2nd year visa and then was hoping to possibly buy a camper van and travel round aus in that :-)

I am getting swayed more towards ozintro as well now- I've been reading so many reviews about them both, and it does look like you get to do more on ozintro.. additionally ultimate oz- there can be up to 60 people on each trip in September which seems massive??
Anyways, I'm hoping to work for a few months when I get there- would love a bar job, or something similar! I have to return to Ireland in June 2015 unfortunately, as I can only get one year away from work so don't think I'll be doing the three months work :/
My plan would be to stay in Sydney for a few months, meet a few people and then go travelling around aus as well.. not really sure how or where but also just looking for an adventure!lol

Hey I'm flying to Sydney in August and hoping to work for 6 months or more. I want to spend Xmas and new year there. I've travelled aus last October on a tourist visa and now I'm coming back on a whv! I did Ozintro and it was the best week of my life I'll be coming to oz solo so would like to meet like-minded people x

Hi I'm 30 and hoping to be travelling to Sydney at the beginning of September! Alone. Never done it before and excited and scared all in one. Not sure where to go after Sydney looking at Alice springs then over to the Great Barrier Reef.Be good to hear what other peoples plans are.
