brissy is beautiful in June, stay in a few hostels for while and you'll meet people right away. There are tons of great neighborhoods scattered around the city
Hi, myself and a friend are travelling to Brisbane on the 9th October. We're from England too, Newcastle upon Tyne and Durham and will both be 23 when we travel. Our plan is to find work in Brisbane for the 6 months you can work for an employer then looking at moving onto somewhere else. If your still in Brisbane when we are maybe we could meet up and you could show us the ropes in the city

I live in Brisbane and would love to meet in the city one weekend for a cuppa, work during the week. I am heading to Ireland in 2 weeks and away for 3 weeks so can't do anything until after I return. Keep your posts coming.
