Hi, myself and a friend are travelling to Australia on the 9th October 2014 from London Heathrow. We are travelling to Brisbane and hoping to find a job here as soon as possible. I'm hoping to work for 6 months in one job here to make some money then looking to travel to different areas of Australia but don't know where to go yet. Has anyone got advice/info on how likely, hard or easy it is to get a job in the Brisbane area and what kind of jobs are available for travellers?

I'm travelling to Australia on the 2nd October.
I will be going alone and am going all over the place, I will be in the Brisbane area from 6th to 18th November and it would be cool to speak to you and talk all things travelling before then.
Would be nice to have someone give me the lowdown on Brisbane before I get there
