Hi all. I'm going to Japan this coming early October. Nagoya to Japan, and possibly back. I don't see many topic about Japan lately, is it a bad time to visit? Anybody else?
It's always a good time to visit Japan. You need to see what is worth visiting and consider getting a rail pass. Also book some accommodation for your first few nights.
Equally a bus pass might be suitable. There are night buses and these could save you the cost of a night's accommodation whilst also moving you from one city to another. We used one from Tokyo to Kyoto and later from Kyoto to Hiroshima. Try Willers at http://willerexpress.com/st/3/en/pc/buspass/
