I'm flying in at Christmas and also have a friend in Perth, but I'll be staying in a hostel as her family will be down as well.
I havn't got a set plan yet but when I get there I'm just going to try and find some work and then travel around.. did you find it easy to get a job?

Yeah, I got a job quite easily. I should say though that getting jobs as a waiter is quite easy, and I have seven years experience and the danish waitering education.
What kind of work are you planning to find when you get here?
Hi Dan and Jens??? not sure who actually has written the top comment. I live in the south west and have just written a blog about a couple of places near where I live. Busselton Jetty and Bunkers Bay western Australia. I will leave a link here but not sure if I am allowed. Anyway lots of work down this way in the wineries and touristy bits and pieces.

I'm hoping to get work on a fruit farm (or winery thanks Rona). It seems like a good way to meet other travellers. I'm not 100% sure yet just hoping once I'm out there it will be alot easier!
