Cheap yet budget comfortable routes

I'm planning a trip that will likely last about 2 months or so (thinking of buying a one way ticket and going from there). I am from Seattle. I would like to start in Vietnam and want to go to Bali, India, Japan, and the Philippines definitely (as well as Malaysia/Sri Lanka possibly). Having trouble routing my trip as to what would be the least expensive past my first stop in Vietnam. Any ideas or suggestions are very welcome!

Hi,

I would start by playing around with the map feature on TravellersPoint to plot a logical route from country to country, with the shortest probably being the cheapest. Once you settle on a country route, then do separate maps for each country.
Then use Planner on TravellersPoint to fine tune actually getting from place to place. Those countries are widely separated with lots of sea between so flying would probably be your only option for a lot of it.

Whatever you choose, what with the time constraint, I doubt it will be cheap.

I think you might be better off limiting yourself to countries that butt up against each other. Or maybe just India.

Sounds like the two Turkish girls in had a great time in India. Maybe ask Asenaok on that thread for some detailed advice.

A note re one way ticket :- Some countries may want confirmation you are leaving the country, like an onward ticket. Be sure to check that & Visa requirements.

Happy travels

Steve
