Best way to get around

My husband & I are heading to the UK at the start of June and are both wondering what the best way to get around is....

Trains can be good value if you book them in advance. Have a look on the national rail website. If you have a set route /time schedule this could be an option but if you're looking to be flexible then train tickets on the day especially for long journeys can be very expensive but travelling after 10am during off peak hours will save you some money. Have you looked into an interrail pass if you're planning on going across Europe?
I'm not sure if you can buy a van in the UK if you're from abroad as it needs to be registered in your name to a UK address and you'll need tax and insurance. Maybe Google will be able to help you on that one lol x

Hello not sure if you will have set off by now or not. Were from uk but did the same as you were thinking bought a campervan and travelled europe. Id say get the van once you leave the uk because there is barely anywhere in england you can camp in overnight so the few sites charge loads. In europe there is 1000s of places and sites especially for campers most are free too.
i would also advice planning a little further in front.
If you wanna get from london to glasgow cheap try megabus or national express its a coach ride like quite a long time but can get it as cheap as £50.
