I own a real estate company in Florida. I do a lot of business on the phone. When I recently traveled to Colombia I relied on connecting to WiFi > to message a girl in the office in Florida > who relayed phone calls inboud/outboud via 3-way calls to a local Colombian pre-paid cell phone (she had a phone with cheap outbound calls to Colombia)
Check out T-Mobile's international plan. I'm considering it since I travel extensively overseas in places where there is no Wi-Fi, but there is cell phone service.
