Hi guys, having trouble deciding where to spend my 27th bday in January. Caribbean cruise or northern Thailand? I'm a single female traveller so would anyone be interested in doing these trips with me? Sucks that I have to pay a single supplement so would be great to half the costs!
Odd choices, I can't imagine two more different locations.

Also, what single supplement would you have in Thailand? You must be planning on a tour? Kinda like a cruise except on land? Thailand is super easy to do independently...

Definitely Thailand!
Caribbean cruises are fun. It is full of luxurious living experiences. These choices are not even close in travel experiences. If I was to choose though, I would choose Thailand.
I would cruise in northern Thailand.
I'm thinking of doing a week volunteering in the elephant reserve, chiang mai. Will be with like minded people so puts me more at ease knowing I won't be completely alone
Thailand is one of the most popular backpacker destinations on the planet, a foreigner is never alone unless they choose to be.

I'm busy. But I were you I would prefer Caribbean Cruise, It could be more exciting and fun.
I think you should try something exciting like watching northern lights, trying Husky sledding and enjoying snow and wilderness in northern Finland :D
