I heard a lot of people talking about the intro packages some people saying over priced but most saying they had a good experience with them. I figure it would be a good way to make some friends and have a good laid back preplanned week when I first get there. The company I have been looking at is first abroad. Has anyone had experienced with them or is there another you would recommend?
There are a few companies that offer a first week full of organised trips, the two I have been recommended are oz intro and ultimate oz. Just thought you might like to compare those to the one you have seen.
A lot of the things they offer you can get for free anyway in Australia, tax number, bank account etc. If you are just worried about meeting people you will meet people anyway in the hostels. I wouldn't waste money on a intro package and save it for travel on the east coast which is amazing.
