I am just from Tanzania East Africa where i volunteered with an organisation called International volunteers initiatives, i just had an experience of the life. The projects i was involved with where so rewarding and i can say its just not about volunteering but let us volunteer in places are skills are needed the most> most people tend to do volunteer work during summer breaks but opt to go to places where there is no much to do or help, people go to countries which are not that poor. I have noticed that people tend to avoid going the places where the very poor of the world live. Volunteering abroad should be like what international volunteers initiatives offered me this year. I feel i did a lot to help and my experience will forever be with me. so lets us all change our mentality towards volunteering and lets us help those who need pour services the most.
