hey does anyone no the age group of backpackers that go with oz intro???

Im going to do Ozintro in October this year and i will be 30 when i arrive, i have also thought the same as you, but then i thought bugger it, you will fit in at any age aslong as you are out-going and up for some fun and adventure.

I never did Ozintro, but in our little group we were aged between 19 to almost 30. We sat and had drinks with people who were old 50-60yrs in the hostals, and all got along just great.
No need to worry about age

Hey I am currently travelling in Oz and have done a fair bit of traveling around the world before i got here... usually I love 2 do my own thing but this time I was rushed and busy 2 so I signed up to a website over here called -snip- & booked for one of those arrival packages. so far they've been gr8t and definitely worth it. i've made heaps of friends thru the trips i've been on and now i'm working a job i got with them...totally cool, regional australia on a remote farm as a farmhand and loving it.
After this i'm heading on up to the whitsundays... has anyone been, know which sailing companies r the best?

I reiterate my stance on ozintro, yes it's a good way of getting to know people but I still think it's a total rip-off to charge people for it.
I did nearly all of the things on the ozintro list and met loads of fantastic friends at a fraction of the cost.
Yeah that's tru but if you want to just get here and be part of the action straight away, i reckon those arrival packages are the way forward. My arrival package was with -snip- and it's been brilliant, i have been on so many tours, been to heaps of bars and pubs that I wouldn't even have known about and have found 2 jobs, so am making plenty of money. And about the age thing, when you're travelling no-one cares what your age is. it's all about meeting new people rfom all walks of life.
