Insurance - any recommendations or ones to avoid?

Just sorting travel insurance as travelling to Oz and NZ with my kids for 4 months and just wanted any advice - especially if there are insurance companies anyone has had bad experience with so I know to avoid

ah.. I have the same question too...

All the travel insurances available in Singapore are only valid for 90days of travel. My WHV for New Zealand is 6 months and there are no plans covering that!

I've been researching insurance as well, we have a good quote from direct line for 12 months round the world travels and TP members recommended insure and go!!

I just got a quote from insure and go for £88 for a year and it appears to cover everything. Does this seem right? STA quote me £400!
