Hi all,
Does anyone can give me some advise?
Apply for the Working Holiday Visa to Ireland, but don't make any more detailed plans. Just see how it goes. Have always enough cash to go home early by plane. Go with the flow.
Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland are quite expensive to travel in, this is where I recommed that you are flexible. France, Germany, Italy and Spain are also nice and less expensive.
Fly to Portugal and overland visiting until Russia.
That is going to take a ton of cash and far more time than you have because to see all those countries enroute (Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Ukraine) you need approx. 16 weeks and around 6000 EUR. From the border to Russia you can then plan on needing another 1000 EUR to travel around Russia and on to China.
I doubt you'll make that much just by working in Ireland.
That is not to say that going home to Hongkong by train is not possible - but realistically you'll most likely end up taking a budget flight from Dublin to Riga and then take the train through Russia and China. THat would cost "only" around 1000 EUR.
Hi , many thanks for your help!
I always think that Europe is quite easy to travel but forgot the money concern.
I better check out where I really to go before I leave home.
Thanks for your advise and I will keep it in my mind until the journey end.
But Iceland is still expensive to go? I heard that this country is already bankruptcy few months before? (I am sorry if I use the wrong wordings.)
Many thanks!
