great! there will be about four of us and we wnat to go in early July. around how much would that cost per person do you think? also how would we get in contact with a guide? oh and what is included in the trip and what would we need to bring? thnkx, lots of questions, sorry
Please check your private message. I have sent to all details.
Well if you are not set on doing the Everest Trek you can do the Annapurna Circuit and that will cost a lot less (lodging and food). I know that a lot of people are on budget and I dont want to take any money away from the Nepali people, but you can just do the trek alone. It is a safe trek, you cant get lost, and you can pick and choose where you eat and stay. If you choose this option I would not negotiate too much for anything, try to give more back to the people. The only major suggestion if you choose to go without a guide/porter is to be very conservative the altitude. Make sure you do not go too high too fast. It can kill you. No matter what you choose Nepal is a great country so enjoy.
Hi!
Could you post more details about a trip mentioned above? Have you ever gone on such a trip?
For many years I've been thinking about something like that, I'm a big fan of mountain trekking. It's not like I have it planned and am just asking about details - I'm just in the first phase - dreaming about it But still - it's good to know anything at the start
How much - approximately - would I have to spend? Where to start? Where to sleep?
Thanks for any information!
Nepal Nepal offers excellent trekking options to visitors from the easy walking excursions to the strenuous climb of the snowy peaks. The most rewarding way to experience Nepal's natural embellishment and cultural assortment is to walk through the length, breadth and the altitudes of the country. Trekking in Nepal is a big part of the ultimate Himalayan adventure and a majority of tourists have trekking as a part of their itinerary.
One can also trek on ponies in some remote places, which is equally enthralling for visitors. Pony treks follow nearly the same routes and are offered mostly in western region of Pokhara, Dolpo and Lo Manthang (Mustang).
There are many beautiful and interesting places to visit inside and outside the Kathmandu Valley. The places are full of history and historical remains and are remarkable for their beauties. Most of the places can be easily reached from Kathmandu by road or by air. High in the Himalayan Mountains lays the small Kingdom of Nepal, with its lofty mountains, deep valleys, lush jungles, exotic wildlife and diverse peoples. Mostly known as the Land of Everest or the Birthplace of the Lord Buddha. Nepal has a variety of attractions to keep tourists coming back for more.
