North or South Italy???

I've been planning a 2 week trip to France/Italy. Originally our plan was to visit: Turino, Milano, Venezia, Florencia, and Roma. Now, I'm considering skipping Turino and Milano altogether and going further south. Does anyone have any suggestions of a possible itinerary? We will be there during the Christmas/New Years holiday.

Why not include Venezia on your Itinerary? Especially at Christmastime I'm sure the city of gondoliers would be a great visit!!!

We are definitely going to Venezia! We are skipping only on Turino and Milano in hopes of spending more time further south. Perhaps Palermo, etc.

Hi!
I'm Italian, and I think that Venice in Christmas days is very nice, although there's very very cold. If you want to go in the South Italy, you can visit Roma, Amalfi, Napoli, Palermo...
