ok, So i am planning a trip to greece and italy for 3 weeks in september. I am going it alone. 1st off, any advice on the cheapest places to fly into, as well as cheapest ways to travel once i get over there. I'm kinda stumped/overwhelmed with all the places in italy. I'm a bit of a night owl. i love bars, live music, good food, new people. I guess i'm looking for some of the younger spots. So far i'm told i have to hit up rome. From there i am clueless. As for greece, same things apply. relaxation during the day and a lively night life. Clubs really are not my thing and i can only check out so many tourist attractions. I prefer to do the locals thing. Cheap places to stay would be great too. thank you for your help in advance. I can tell you great places in chicago in exchange.

Greece is not in the same league with Italy. Greeks are not as friendly as Italians and there is much less to see and do.
