I plan to Jordan around June or July, it will be my first time there. Plan to visit Petra, Dead sea & Wadi Rum. Still working out for other places to go, what would u recommend? I will be travel solo, so might be we can meet if u do go to same place.

I would recommend 3 days at Petra, 2 days in Wadi Rum and day trips to Jerash and the Dead Sea from Amman. If you have more time, Dana Nature Reserve is supposed to be stunning too, but I've not been there yet. From Amman you could also easily reach Damascus and Beirut. If you make it to Lebannon, I would definitely go to Baalbek and if you go to Damascus, you could stop off at Bosra on the way - the possibilities are endless!
Did you have a look at that Wadi Rum trip? If you just turn up at Wadi Rum Visitors' Centre, there are 9 tours to choose from, but they only range from a few hours to a full day. To do longers trips and to stay in Wadi Rum overnight, you have to book with a company in advance and they meet you at the Visitors' Centre. Also, it's cheaper to book in advance.
