Hello there,
Hi, Alfie!
Do you plan to visit other countries in Europe?
In July a laugh? Nightmare is more like it.
All the kids are on holiday and so are many of the parents. Lots of foreign travellers everywhere from everywhere. Crowds and crowds and prices all sky high as travel and accommodation companies take advantage of this.
If you want any accommodation that is within sight of "cheap", book now. Some hostels will be full up already.
Where you go, what you see and do depends on you since we all have different ideals.
Possibly a Ryanair flight from Prestwick to Malaga and a hostel somewhere on the Costa del Sol with days out along the coast or just relaxing on the beach might do where you'll probably find many like minded people. It can get very hot then so a fan or air conditioning in your room might come in useful.
You can take a tour or get a bus to places like Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Cadiz, Ronda and so on as well as Faro in Portugal. Also Gibraltar and even Morocco (assuming it is quiet there then).
For touring as you want, I'd go either May and early June or mid September on. Not so much hassle and lots cheaper then.
