Hello All;
My wife and I are planning to travel, in a campervan (CV), across Europe starting Jan-Feb 2012. To make it as cost effective as possible, we were thinking 6 months at a time, Feb, Mar warmer countries, then Apr for transiting towards non Schengen country, then May Jun Jul out of Schengen. All spread out over a few years.
There are many companies/web-sites here in the UK that will rent you a CV/Motorhome short or long term!

We too are planning on going to eu in2012 and plan on buying a used motorhome in amsterdam.You might check out BW campers and turners campers in Netherlands. We know Americans that have bought from both companies.They all had good experiences. Good luck.

What sort of cv have you got maybe a swop might be easier/better we have a motorhome in England that we might consider some sort of arrangment. We are leaving next week for an overland trip tp Australia arriving in November and ouy motorhome is in storage for the next year
