I'm going soon myself, and have been studying the prices quite a bit. I can tell you that Istanbul prices will be higher than Antalya. Here's a by country - Turkey looks to be moderate compared to Europe or the USA. The good thing is that we only need to tip about 10%.
As a foodie myself, I look forward to the in the City of Meat!

Hi!
Istanbul food can get a bit expensive esoecially if you are at a hotel. Restuarants are many. Some of the better places are around or near the Golden Horn, Sultanamhet and Taksim Sq areas. Some pretty decent seafood places. What I usually do is find a hotel that has breakfast included in the price, snack for lunch as I tour the markets and the city, lots of stall for sanwiches, k-bobs, pizza etc...all really good and cheap. Then for dinner i find a place that is nice and have a nice dinner. Maybe I'll spend a little more for dinner, but usually I save in the long run. Also it gives me a chance to try the local fare at the stalls. Not to be missed in most countries, and Istanbul is no different. Dinner can cost you about 15-25 per person, US$ which really isn't too bad considering you get a pretty good meal. And by the way, the Turks are very friendly, it's a great city to tour when they are this friendly!
Have fun and enjoy!!
